The floor tiles are finally completed on the lower floor!!! And the long strips of parquet for the staircase are delivered to site, together with the smaller strips of parquet for the rest of the bedrooms upstairs.
For the whole of last week, the electrical wirings are all up together with the air-con piping and ductworks. All the lighting setting out are all set in placed, ready for the light fixtures to come in later.
The storage heaters are also installed too for both lower and upper floors.

The wood tiles selection for Kovan maisonette is really nice, the owner has gone for a light wood tile for the kitchen and for the balcony he has gone for a darker wood colour that resembles more of the natural outdoor wood.

Seriously, the air con designers should come up with something better for the amount of ductwork that is needed for just 1 aircon unit!! The pipes and ductworks are so thick and insulated that it is almost impossible to hide. There's only that amount of box up we can do in a flat!!!

I thought the stack of parquet was really the funny bit of the day for me. It looked so much like my ultimate load testing at construction site!
